I've seen people use everything from plastic buckets to old rear end housings. You can build a decent box from sheetmetal or aluminum. CMG sells a nice storage box. I've seen a few on eBay. Sure some of the other dealers have similar type gear carriers.

Cat litter square buckets, or ice melt square buckets... the smaller size fits 8 bolts perfect, the bigger size fits 10 bolts good... I might have access to a couple extras (I don't have cats)
I use Home Depot buckets with lids, I put a thin piece of plywood in the bottom to keep the gear from breaking through the bottom of the bucket which will happen over time and it works fine, if you have money just falling out of your backside then go buy the $60 custom carriers, Steve
4 gallon square buckets from U-Line buy 10 and there cheaper, Sell 5 to another racer.
yes there same buckets as kitty litter but new come clean ect. Cut a square of plywood for the bottom to spread the load.
Square buckets pack well in the trailer too and lids have sealant o-ring so no stink in the hot sun to make the trailer smell.
