cookem it's a 1/3 mile track and has medium high banks. You'll need more gear than a 1/4.

I keep hearing several different things from 1/3rd mile to 3/8th mile. was hoping someone with a ZX12 would respond. Thanks for your info so far. Looking forward to coming out and running a larger track than i have been running.

We don't run ZX12 here. So I don't think anyone would have that info. I can offer this for you. I run a ZX9 with a 370. Final gear is 9.87 @ 12200 rpm. Hope that helps some. Also track has a tendency to go slick slick slick.

2 weeks away until the 2nd annual KrotchRocket Shoot-Out,Pre-entry forms are slowly but surely showing up.
Pre-entry for this event is "FREE",with only a $20.00 pill draw each night going towards the "Nightly Pay-out" and trophies.
Getting your entry and sponsors are very helpful prior to the event.Looking forward to another exciting SHOOT-OUT!

$250 to win and you have to pay $20 entry and a pit pass? It would be hard to drive across the state for that, let alone across the U.S.. I get there are a lot of cars in Arizona, but with less payout than last year, it would be hard to reach 80 cars like last year.

    Re: krotchRocket Shootout 2013

Well.. Pit passes are a must at every track... Not sure why that would even matter?
Most "big payout" events are asking for a $100 entry fee for the event, and $150+ for late entry... why do you think the purse is so high?
I don't think the 80 cars will be hard, we should have close to 40 in the street tire division alone, 24+ in Modlites and I'm sure close to 20 with the OutLaw class.

The AZ weather should be great!!!
