    safe operating r.p.m?

I have a question about my dwarf car,it has a stock 1997 water cooled,gsxr.1100 and I was wondering what a safe top rpm is? I have a dyna 2000 ignition box and the rpm settings range is 9 thousand thru 16 thousand in one thousand increments.thanks for any and all input!

I never took my gsxr 1200's over the stock limiter rpm. But then again i never blow up a motor in 20 years and 6 championships with the gsxr.

With good valve springs and "lite" retainers, i think you can go to 12000 safely
